Our story

A small shop on a quiet streetbetween the herbalist and the cat.

We make modern folk talismans for witches who keep cats and cats who keep witches. Everything you'll find here is drawn, printed, packed, and posted by hand from a sunlit studio in the Pacific Northwest.

01

Drawn at the kitchen table

Every illustration begins as a pencil sketch on cheap newsprint, usually with Mugwort the cat asleep on the reference photos. From there we ink, scan, and separate by hand — no AI, no clipart, no shortcuts. Our tarot deck took eleven months. The bandanas took three.

02

Printed in small batches

We screen-print our bandanas and apparel on a tabletop press in editions of fifty to one hundred. When a print sells out, it usually sells out for good. The next batch is always something new — that's the rule of the shop.

03

Packed with intention

Every order is wrapped in unbleached butcher paper, tied with cotton twine, and tucked with a hand-stamped thank-you card and a sprig of dried lavender from the garden. The cat supervises. The cat always supervises.

What we believe in

01

Slow goods

We make fewer things and make them better. Small batches. Real materials. No fast fashion.

02

Plant-based inks

Water-based, low-impact inks on organic cotton. Better for the witch, the cat, and the soil.

03

Witches first

We pay our illustrators a real wage and we ship anywhere a black cat would care to go.
